La Femme Nikita | 1990 | Dir. Luc Besson an all-time favourite movie and my first Besson film. I wanted to centre on the bathroom scene, this always reminds me of the end of ALIEN – both female leads are (literally) exposed and vulnerable. But, also focused. Digging deep to do what needs doing. However, the NIKITA scene is more tragic, as her mask begins to slip for the first time in the movie.
